Paris + ART BASEL 2023
This year’s edition of Paris + Art Basel just took place last weekend and I was lucky enough to be in Paris while it was going on. One thing I love about Art Basel is that I am able to see works by renowned artists, such as Basquiat and Picasso, as well as discover up and coming artists which I do not know yet. I saw many incredible art works, including some of Robert Rauschenberg’s Cooper pieces. This was very exciting for me as Rauschenberg has been a massive influence in my artwork so seeing one of his pieces up close in person was incredible. After analyzing all the pieces that I photographed from this years edition of Art Basel Paris I realized that I am always drawn to the more colorful, abstract paintings. I like them because they are lively. The bright colors make me happy and lighten up the room.
I hope you guys enjoy seeing some of my favorite pieces from this years PARIS + ART BASEL.
Xoxo,

This was arguably one of my favorite pieces. Coincidently this painting was made by a Brazilian artist called Luiz Zerbini and is called “Paisagem Inútil”. I love the shades of pink, blue, brown, and gold in this piece.
