Coolest concept stores in le marais

I recently went on a tour of some incredible concept stores in Le Marais in the 3rd and 4th arrondissement of Paris. These included Merci, Erotokritos, Boutique Solidaire, OFR Bookshop and Fleux. All these stores have incredible concepts and a different approach to how they make their displays appealing to the public.

Merci

111 Bd Beaumarchais, 75003 Paris.

I really liked the displays of Merci because they offered a variety of different products from hats and shoes to furniture and home decor but they display it in their show rooms in a way that makes sense. The second I walked into the store I saw amazing displays like a beautiful bed with a mannequin wearing in a sweater standing in front of it, a wall of mirrors, and even an area that looked like a shower.

BIS Boutique solidaire

7 Bd du Temple, 75003 Paris

Boutique Solidaire is a very cool second hand store situated in Le Marais. While there are some vintage clothes at this store, they are mostly modern second hand clothes. The pieces are selected by Eléonore O’Byrne, workshop manager, former designer and costume designer and he ensures that all the clothes are in perfect condition. As soon as you enter on the ground floor are women's clothing, which have very affordable prices (around €5 for a t-shirt, €15 for a dress, etc.) and downstairs are men's and children’s clothing. What I love 

most about this store is that Boutique Solidaire is not just about selling beautiful second hand clothes for affordable prices. The store is approved by the Atelier et Chantier d’Insertion and each purchase from this store is also a social purchase. They have a partnership with Secours Popular and have created 12 positions as part of an integration project to help train and employ people who would otherwise be unemployed.

FLEUX

39 Bis Rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris

Of all the stores we visited Fleux was one of my favorites. On this street, Fleux was spread out between 3 different stores. I loved this shop because they had such cool home decor items and very cool displays with bright colors. Asides from home decor, they had books, clothes, accessories, and furniture at this cool concept store. The prices of everything there was also quite affordable.

Erotokritos Paris

109 Bd Beaumarchais, 75003 Paris

Erotokritos Paris is a very cool store which produces clothing and accessories. Unlike Merci and Fleux, Erotokritos does not sell home decor products, furnitures, etc. They stick to selling fashion items, including a beautiful leather bag which is the only model of handbags the brand makes. The display of the store is still incredible nonetheless, with big green leafery bringing life to the room and a couch with a coffee table in front covered with fashion books and magazines.

OFR Bookshop

20 Rue Dupetit-Thouars, 75003 Paris

My final destination was the OFR Paris Bookshop. This shop was filled with beautiful books about art and fashion. I ended up buying three fashion photography and abstract art books which I loved.
