Pantone’s 2024 color of the year

For over 25 years, Pantone has chosen one color to be representative of the following year. The group of color analysts at Pantone choose tones they believe will best represent the trends of the upcoming year, not only in the fashion sector but also in the landscape of beauty, lifestyle and design. For 2024, the color they chose was a pastel peach color called Pantone 13-1023 Peach Fuzz.

Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institut explained how the choice for this color was made, stating that “in seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.”

This shade exudes softness and provides a relaxing allure. Below, I have included some images of how some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses are embracing this new color in their latest collections and portraying their interpretation of it.

In the beauty sectors this color can be seen in shades of blushes, lip glosses, and even eye shadows.
