A LOOK at the 2024 golden globes
THE RED CARPET
The Golden Globe Awards are annual awards in the entertainment industry made to highlight and award excellence in film and television. These awards are awarded by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which selects the winners and organizes the awards ceremony. Unlike the Oscars, the Golden Globes also recognizes excellence in television and the Golden Globe award is one of the most prestigious awards an actor can receive in their field. Every year this award ceremony attracts a lot of attention not only because of the awards themselves, but because of the incredible outfits seen on the red carpet.
I was honestly a bit disappointed with this year’s Golden Globes red carpet as I saw very few dresses that I was stunned by. I made a selection of the ones that I found the most beautiful as well as makeup looks and accessories that stood out to me. One of my favorite looks by far, was that of Keleigh Sperry who wore a gorgeous light-blue, strapless sequin dress with embroidered floral details made by Monique Lhuillier, however I believe she did not walk the carpet. One thing I noticed with this red carpet is that in terms of makeup most of the celebrities were opting for more natural looks rather than heavy makeup as seen in the past. In terms of men’s fashion, there were quite a couple of outfits that stood out to me and I thought were incredible and I will also share them here.
Below is the list of all the Golden Globe winners of the night, followed by my favorite looks and behind the scene moments.
I hope you guys enjoy.
Xoxo,
Valentina Vontobel

I thought Brie Larson looked absolutely stunning in this elegant Prada dress. This was one of my favorite looks of the night. Not only is the look beautiful, I thought this lilac color was very favoring of her skin tone.
Ariana Greenblatt looked stunning in this Saint Laurent outfit. I love the subtle sexiness of this outfit as well as all the rings she added to the look to accesorize.
Jennifer Lopez wearing Nicole + Felicia Couture
Although I had mixed feelings about Jennifer Lopez’s dress, I know I absolutely loved this light pink color on her. This color suited her amazingly and made her look gorgeous. Another thing I loved about her look, was her accessories. She wore a gorgeous pair of Boucheron earrings with a matching ring.
Keleigh Sperry wearing Monique Lhuillier
I chose these close-up images of Jennifer Lawrence and Emily Blunt because I thought both of their makeup looks were incredible. They both look extremely natural, youthful, and glowy.
I am obsessed with Jared Leto’s Givenchy look for this event. I saw he got a lot of criticism online for wearing leather gloves on the carpet, however I loved this look. I like that even though he is at a formal event he had a cool streetwear feel to his outfit while still maintaining a lot of class. I also think that the whole look worked with his vibe and aesthetic and that makes a big difference. You can always tell when someone feels confident and comfortable in what they are wearing.
